This horse boarding and training facility is well-maintained and offers top tier care and horseback riding lessons at an affordable price. Carrie and David Hover are the owners, living onsite with 24 hour monitoring of the facility. Carrie is the barn manager and trainer with over 30 years of experience in hunter-jumpers, equitation, conditioning racehorses, and general horsemanship. She's comfortable with both English and Western riding styles.

Located at 5525 Petaluma Hill Road in Sonoma County, the stable sits on over 40 rural acres on the Eastern border of Rohnert Park on Petaluma Hill Road, Sonoma State University is just south of the barn. There is a large covered arena, and a larger outdoor jumping arena. A round pen is available, as well as a number of lovely turnouts and large pastures. It is horse heaven. The back acreage is open field for hacking or just a leisurely stroll. There are a variety of stall options, some with runs. All are open and airy with floor mats in addition to shavings and automatic watering available. Barn help is top notch, attentive and knowledgeable.

She's comfortable with both English and Western riding styles, and dressage. In addition, she coached the Sonoma State Equestrian Team for many years. Her main goal is to have happy riders with happy horses who can enjoy riding. She also supports those riders who want to compete by helping them develop both their skills and their horse's abilities as well.
